He began the series in 1885, and carried on until the year of his death.
It is regarded as his masterpiece.
This particular series does not display the gruesome elements of his previous work.
He did not restrict himself to the work of 𝗞𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘆𝗼𝘀𝗵𝗶, but read widely, in his effort to perfect his work.
